SRA FLEX Literacyâ„¢ combines the best of computer-based and teacher-led instruction with collaborative learning to provide struggling readers and writers the skills they need for college and career readiness. The program provides three powerful learning experiences: The Digital Experience, The Print Experience, and The Project Experience, all working together to accelerate student progress. True differentiated learning is achieved because student performance throughout all three Experiences informs instruction for maximum results. SRA FLEX Literacy fits the intervention needs of every classroom through flexible implementation options.
Student Resources
Interactive Reader
This student workbook is used during the Print Experience and serves as a personalized student portfolio—a written record of growth and accomplishment in the program. Each Volume (A, B, and C) includes an equal number of fiction and nonfiction selections, as well as four poetry selections.
Decodable Reader
This student text provides 124 decodables with more than two decodable selections per sound/spelling that are over 80% decodable for additional age- appropriate reading practice for beginning readers who need extra support to develop automaticity and to practice fluency.
Project Guide
These 48Â-page Guides feature writing-Âcentered projects that develop collaboration and 21st ÂCentury skills. The resource section includes reproducible checklists, Assessment Guides, and helpful information for students.

Implementation Guide
This printed Guide provides an overview of the Digital, Print, and Project Experiences and how they interact, as well as the research base of the program, guidelines for effective implementation, and user instructions to get started with FLEXWorks.
Teacher Edition Sampler
This sampler gives a look inside all three Volumes (A, B, and C) of the Print Experience and their lessons. Each Volume covers 36 weeks (or 180 days) of instruction, and provides teachers the instructional support needed to ensure that teaching and learning are purposefully directed toward the state objectives and standards.
Resource Sampler
This sampler gives a look inside both the Assessment Resources and Differentiated Instruction Resources books. Included in Assessment Resources is information on program Entrance/Exit Strategies, Student Assessment, CTAs, Mastery Checks, Scope and Sequence documents, and Correlations to the CA CCSS. Included in the Differentiated Instruction Resources is information on information on Individualized Instruction, Decodable Reader, English Language Learner, and Contrastive Analysis Charts.
